Message from the Chairman
Thank you for your interest in the City of Leesburg. The mission of the Planning and
Zoning Commission is to act as the citizen oversight committee with jurisdiction
over planning and zoning related activities occurring in the City of Leesburg.
Historically a sleepy town, in recent years Leesburg has undergone numerous and
rapid changes in it's development as a community. A resurgent downtown, new
retirement communities, additional annexations, single-family subdivisions and
apartments all contribute to the growth and economic viability of our City. Twice
each month, the Planning and Zoning Commission meets to review and make
recommendations on development proposals such as these throughout the City.
James Argento, Chairman
Leesburg Planning and Zoning Commission
