Annual Salary: $38,126.40

The purpose of the class is to coordinate, implement and finalize projects according to the specifications and deadlines, all while keeping the project within budget. The class is responsible for monitoring construction to determine conformance and compliance and completion of contract requirements. The class works within broad policy and organizational guidelines; reports progress of major activities through periodic conferences, meetings and detailed record keeping.
Requires a high school diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, public administration or a related field is preferred. Eight years or more of directly related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement. Requires a valid State of Florida driver license and satisfactory driving record as a condition of initial and continued employment. Project Management Professional Certification is preferred; certification within four (4) years is required. LEED certification is preferred.
