Subject: Discussion of Florida League of Cities Draft Legislative Priorities for 2013

Staff Recommendation:

Staff recommends the City Commission discuss the attached legislative priorities and determine if guidance should be given to the Lake County League regarding the issues or their relative priority.

Analysis:

Annually, the Florida League of Cities develops a list of legislative priorities by utilizing policy committees made up of elected and appointed officials from cities throughout the state of Florida. The Lake County League would like to know if there is specific feedback that should be given, or how the cities believe the issues should be prioritized.

1. Such action as the Commission may deem appropriate
