12.  A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, accepting as the City's statement under Section 180.301, Florida Statutes, the public briefing document; determining that the purchase of the water and wastewater assets of the Plantation at Leesburg Limited Partnership is in the public interest; authorizing and approving the purchase of the water and wastewater assets of the Plantation at Leesburg Limited Partnership; approving the written agreement of purchase and sale of water and wastewater assets, by and between the Plantation at Leesburg Limited Partnership and the City of Leesburg, Florida dated June 12, 2006; instructing the Mayor and Clerk to execute and deliver such documents and to take such other actions as are necessary to effectuate the purchase of the water and wastewater assets of the Plantation at Leesburg Limited Partnership in accordance with this resolution; and providing an effective date.
