1.      Purchase requisition 40387 to ESRI, Inc. for the small government enterprise license for the Geographical Information System(ArcGIS) software. (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

C.    RESOLUTIONS:

 

1.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute an agreement with Ernie Morris Enterprises, Inc. to provide furniture, design services, and related services for the old library renovation project; and providing an effective date. 2.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg approving the listed vendors as being prequalified and eligible to participate in providing professional real estate services to the City on an as needed basis; and providing an effective date (Agenda Memos)

 

3.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to apply for and accept a Workforce Central Florida grant not to exceed $10,250 to assist training firefighters; and providing an effective date. (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

4.      A resolution of the City Commission of Leesburg authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute an agreement with the Friends of the Leesburg Public Library to allow for the establishment of a Bookstore Manager position in the Library with funds provided by the Friends of the Library as outlined in the Employment Funding Agreement; and providing an effective date. 5.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg approving revisions to the Collection Development Policy of the Lake County Library System of which the Leesburg Public Library is a member; and providing an effective date. (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

6.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, authorizing a contribution of up to $253,448.00 to the 185 Police Pension Plan; and providing an effective date. (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

8.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida, authorizing the transmittal of the response to the objections, recommendations, and comments (ORC) report (DCA amendment no. 08-pefe1) regarding the adoption of school concurrency text amendments to the comprehensive plan, received from the Florida Department of Community Affairs (DCA). 9.      A resolution of the City Commission of the City of Leesburg, Florida amending City Resolution No. 8349, by granting the holder of the Community Redevelopment Agency for the Carver Heights/Montclair Area Redevelopment Revenue Note, Series 2008 a lien on "Available Revenues" making other changes to article 4 and section 7.1 of said resolution; and providing an effective date. A.    Request from Commissioner Henderson for a Motion to Rescind the Purchase of three Kubota off road utility vehicles to replace existing equipment for the Fleet Services Division approved at the December 8, 2008 City Commission meeting.

 

B.     Second reading of an ordinance amending the City’s Comprehensive Plan; adding or adopting revisions to the public schools facilities element, capital improvements element, and intergovernmental coordination element; adopting amendments to the comprehensive plan arising from the required implementation of school concurrency by state mandate (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)

 

C.    Second reading of an ordinance rezoning of approximately 50 acres generally located north of University Ave. and west of U.S. Highway 27 in Section 24-20-24, from City C-3 (Highway Commercial) to P (Public) – Lake County Board of County Commissioners (Pear Park) (Agenda Memos, Supporting Docs)
