Learn How to Get Public Grants and Loans for Your Business
The City of Leesburg will host a free workshop on Thursday, Feb. 21, to discuss public grants and loans that are available to help small business owners and agricultural producers.
The Florida Energy Stakeholders Workshop – conducted in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, Rural Development, the Florida Office of Energy, Lake County’s Department of Economic Development and Tourism and Workforce Central Florida – will run from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Leesburg Public Library, 100 E. Main St.
Businesses can qualify for funding to reduce their energy costs with solar panels and other improvements. Money also is available for businesses that support alternate energy.

Leesburg is a progressive city of more than 20,000 residents in northwest Lake County.
