The City of Leesburg is located in Central Florida approximately 35 square miles northwest of Orlando. The Leesburg Police Department services an area encompassing about 35 square miles with an estimated population of 20,000 people. We currently have 72 sworn Police Officers and a non-sworn staff of 27 full-time civilians and 6 part-time school crossing guards.
