Kyle Moore began his law enforcement career while serving in the US Marine Corps. He was employed with the Leesburg Police Department on July 5, 2005, after four years of faithful and decorated military service. He immediately made a favorable impression among his supervisors by the professionalism he exhibited. Since his employment, Kyle has consistently treated our citizens with the utmost respect and has earned the communities trust through his demonstrated performance.

Officer Moore has excelled at his profession and has consistently exceeded performance expectations. In fact, Kyle has been the recipient of “Officer of the Year” honors for the department for the past three years. This is an incredible accomplishment considering Kyle’s selection for this recognition has been by a vote of his peers.

Officer Moore has utilized his training and past experiences to his advantage. He was recognized several times this past year for going above and beyond the call of duty. As a member of the Leesburg SWAT team, Kyle is asked to make split second decisions that can influence the safe outcome of dangerous situations. He has consistently proven to have quick reactions with a safety conscious attitude. He has successfully served several search warrants and aided with a barricaded suspect, all with positive outcomes.

Kyle has also been praised for his thoroughness during investigations and never seems to leave a stone unturned. The Leesburg Police Department considers Officer Kyle Moore a tremendous asset to not only the police department, but the community he so loyally serves.
