Development Review Coordinator

The Engineering Division is comprised of a Development Review Coordinator and a Surveying Technician.

The Development Review Coordinator coordinates development and development review activities for the department, and reviews construction plans and specifications for compliance with land development codes, especially as related to transportation, traffic, pavement, and sidewalks. The Development Review Coordinator also reviews submittals for compliance with land development codes, construction standards, and reviews actual progress in the field.

Surveying Technician

Surveying is an important part of the Engineering Division. The Surveying Technician is responsible for the collection of sub millimeter accurate information for the purposes of creating legal descriptions, showing topographical details of land within the City of Leesburg, and constructing new structures with precision accuracy. The ability to record, research, and create information is of great value to the City, saving time and money by removing the expensive process of outsourcing. This facilitates the collection and utilization of accurate and precise data in a timely manner.
